- IDEAS Institute has a database of over 5,000 references relating to the field of
aging. We have made our references and abstracts available to you to search. You may enter up
to three search words (e.g. dementia, environment, home) or dates and locate specific references
of groups of references. For example, you can choose a very general search, one that scans the
entire library, or you can limit your search to specific fields such as Author or Key Words.
- The field list allows you to restrict your search to a particular field such as Author, Year, Keywords, or all fields.
- The and, and or buttons between the search items indicate how the search items are to be combined. For example, a search for dementia and environment finds only those references that mention both terms. Or broadens the search-dementia or environment.
- Contains finds all references where the search field includes the search term.
- Is finds all references in which the entire content of the search field is exactly the same as the search term.
- Is less than finds all references in which the search term is less then the contents of the search field.
- Is less than or equal to finds all references in which the search term is less than or d\identical to the contents of the search field.
- Is greater than finds all references in which the search term is greater then the contents of the search field.
- Is greater than or equal to finds all references in which the search term is greater than or identical to the contents of the search field.
