Through a generous grant from the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation,
IDEAS Institute has developed IDEAS for a Better Visit. This
booklet is designed to help families have enjoyable visits with family
members who are staying in long term care facilities. Older adults
have indicated that is very important to have visits for family and
friends. These visits are often the highlight of their day or week.
Those who live too far away to visit frequently will also find ideas
to help maintain a connection between themselves and their loved one.

Single copies as well as bulk booklet orders are available. Organizations
that choose to purchase 250 or more may have their logo and identifying
information printed on the cover of each booklet. This is an ideal
option for facilities who would like to use the booklet as a marketing
